LP5907-Q1: Current detection and temperature detection

Part Number: LP5907-Q1

Hi team,

could you help on the following questions:

  • Time required for current/temperature detection,( this is the time from the temperature (current) anomaly to the shutdown of the output )
  • Whether the test is determined by multiple tests or is closed as soon as a peak reaches?
  • Recovery time,Recovery time, the time from when the chip detects that the temperature (current) returns to the normal range to the normal voltage output
  •  thanks
  • Hello Hazel,

Both the current limit protection loop and the thermal shutdown circuitry will take some time (usually on the order of µs or 10's of µs) before engaging or disengaging. Neither of these specs are tested during final test so there won't be any min/max values we can provide for the timing.

Is there a customer requirement that these be within a certain duration?
