UCC27282: Find suggestion to attack JWH7911

Now my customer HEMAI is planning a new project about the 2in1 Microinverter and target to MP in 1Q24.

In this case we want to promote the UCC27282 to attack JWH7911 as the gate driver used in the DC/DC part. And they use the LLC topology in the DC/DC part.

But now customer is concern about the efficient of microinverter. So they has some questions about our UCC27282’s specs and detail demands is:

Specs	UCC27282	Customer’s demand	JWH7911
Sink and Source output current	3A	4A	4A
Bootstrap diode turnoff (TYP)	50ns	20ns	20ns

If these specs is so inmportant for microinverter?

Because the UCC27282's price is suitable for HEMIA. How can I convince customer to accept UCC27282.

Thank you for this question regarding the UCC27282.

I was only able to find a one pager regarding the JWH7911 on their product selection guide, but some key aspects to note on the UCC27282 is that it features UVLO, input interlock, enable/disable, a better VDD operating range (5.5-16V vs 8-15V) and 1ns delay match as opposed to 4ns for the JWH7911. Another consideration is that the UCC27282 can come in the SON10 packaging at 3x3mm as opposed to the 4x4mm 8-pin package offered by the competitor.

As far as the sink/source current and diode turnoff delay, the UCC27282 is well suited for DC/DC converters, but here are a few links to resources that we have regarding that that could be helpful.
