TPS92314: AC/DC non-isolated LED driver application (CC mode)

Hi TI team,

I checked and found that TPS92314 can be used for Constant Current LED driver application. Just wanted to double sure that my reading is correct.

My requirement - Input : 90V-265VAC, Output: 24V @150mA.

Please advise if I have choosen the right part for my application or not. If this is the right part then Is there any simulation or design tool where I can design my Inductors/transformer values?

Hi Hitesh,

You can use this tool (SLUC446 Calculation tool | TI.com) to help you determine if TPS92314 can meet your requirement. From my perspective, it is possible for TPS92314 to do this.

Hi Steven,

I downloaded the calculation tool and able to generate required infromation but in isolation configuration only. It is not supported in non-isolation configuration due to low voltage and current.

Last query - Can it supports CC mode or not for LED driver? I didn't found explicitly written in datasheet like CC mode.

Hi Hitesh,

Yes. It supports constant-current mode for driving LEDs.
