LP87524-Q1: 2nd Filter Requirement in Radar Application

Hi team,

For 2nd filter in radar application, I don't think 2nd filter is mandatory when radar intermediate frequency is low enough from DCDC switching frequency and I think in/output caps is sufficient in that case. Do you agree with this?

Hi Shoji,

2nd filter is employed usually to meet the RF low noise specs of radar devices. See the app note here on LC filter use and need.

Hi Shoji,

Yes the app note is for reference on LC filter info. However, AWRL18XX and AWRL68XX has quite similarity from architecture point of view but LC filter is external components.
