LM2733: Constant current driver application

Hello team,

My customer is considering to use LM2733 as constant current driver.

On the datasheet, LED current source is listed as the typical applications.

Is it possible to drive constant current with the configuration below? Is there anything needed to change?

Hello Kei,

With this configuration you will create a constant voltage source. I could not find a picture how to connect FB with a boost converter, but please check out this app note for the connection of the external LED(s) or current load to the FB node to create a constant current source by measuring the current through the resistor to GND: Different Methods to Drive LEDs Using TPS63XXX Buck-Boost Converters (Rev. D) (ti.com)
