TPS62872-Q1: whether adjust output voltage range can reduce output ripples

My customer wants your help about below two questions:

1. If below parameter adjustment can help reduce output ripples of TPS62872-Q1?

2. Customer want to change SW frequency to 3M, they need only to change FSEL pin to the corresponding config, right?

    Thank you for reaching out. 

    Please find my response for your questions below:

    1. The below parameters are the voltage increments that the device is able to support with the provided range. For example, an option would be to use the setting for the voltage range 0.4V to 1.305V and you are able to increase or decrease the voltage by 2.5 mV. However, in device variants that do not have I2C, the output voltage range is factory-set to 0.4 V to 1.675 V.

    2. To change the Fsw to 3MHz, the customer would need to short the FSEL pin Short to VIN, in accordance with table 9.2 in the datasheet.
