Hello,

My customer is looking for a hot swap controller with the conditions below.

- Typ 12V, Max 3A

- Current limit and Reverse current protection

- A function that can provide output for several seconds or longer without voltage drop up to the set current when the set current limit is exceeded (Excluded if no product has this function)

Please recommend the product with good delivery and low cost that best satisfies the above conditions

Hi JH,

Yes they have timer feature in which current up to 2*ILIM is allowed to flow through the device for timer duration and after timer is over then current is limited.

But one concern is setting timer for seconds duration. That will need very large cap at ITIMER pin and may cause unexpected results.
