Hi team,

Could you provide common solution of automotive power rail that uses 48V battery?

How does it supply MCU/ CAN/ LIN etc?

(ex. 48V --> buck -->  1) LDO --> MCU, CAN 2) LDO --> sensor)

Customer has frequently requested about 48V battery device recently.

  • Hi Zena,

    What are the operating conditions? Once you provide the operating conditions, we can recommend the appropriate device.

    Best regards,

    Ridge

  • This is for general body application, mostly simple control module.

    Customer wants to get some advice for concept since many OEM is moving forward to 48V battery.

  • Hi Zena,

    We have a variety of 48V capable parts depending on the load conditions. A few examples are:

    • LMR51610 - 1A load, 65Vin
    • LMR36501 - 0.1A load, 65Vin
    • LMR38020 - 2A load, 80Vin
    • LM5169 - 0.65A load, 120Vin

    We have other 48V capable parts aside from the four examples listed above. Once your customer has set specific operating conditions (Vin, Vout, switching frequency, load, etc.), we can help recommend the best part to meet your application needs.

    Best regards,

    Ridge Lahti
