Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25185EVM, BQ24075, BQ25185
Hi All, can anyone assist?
We have an existing design which is working well using the BQ24075T to charge a LI-Ion battery on a handheld device. We use a USB-AB connector on our device and this charges well from any wall charger, laptop or power bank.
We have been requested to upgrade to USB-C on our handheld. I don't particularly want to change the charging IC, as this functions well, and I don't have too much space on the PCB or spare pins on the micro to interface with the USB-C.
Can anyone suggest how to configure the CC1 and CC2 pins on USB-C to ensure at least 1A current from the charger and do I need to connect any other pins?
Many thanks in advance
