UCC21737-Q1: CLMPE output

Part Number: UCC21737-Q1

Good day, colleagues,

My customer is using a UCC2173-Q1 and it seems as if the CLMPE output switch off is basically at the same time as OUTH rise.

In the datasheet there is this figure, with the markings in red added by me:

(This suggests, that there is some time delay between CLMPE switch off and OUTH turn on.)

We have basically the same setup as in the datasheet:

I understand how the external miller clamp turn-on works (with the monitoring of the gate voltage via OUTH), but it is not very clear how the CLMPE turn-off works.

Is there maybe a fixed time delay between CLMPE going low and OUTH going high? (The figure above suggests that there is some delay.)

Or is there something else going, that avoids OUTH dumping current into the external miller clamp?

Thank you,

Daria
