TPS22992: Load switch recommend

Hi Team,

I'm looking for a load switch that supports short circuit protection (including short circuit before power-up), low input voltage (<0.5V), and 5A Imax. TPS22992 should be an option. I would like to know if the load is short-circuited and the device is powered on at this time, will the short-circuit protection be triggered to prevent damage to the device? Also, is there are options with lower Rds,on?

    Hi Hailiang,

    Yes, the TPS22992S (S - short circuit protection) will protect the device if it turns on into a short. Unfortunately, we have no devices with short circuit protection and lower Rds,on.
