TPS61196: TPS61196 MosFet alternative

Part Number: TPS61196

We use UD40N10-25-E3 following the reference design of TPS61196. But Vishay suggested to use SUD35N10-26P-GE3 as alternative because UD40N10-25-E3 was not recommended for new design. Are there any other side effects for making this replacement?

    Hi David,

    Take the first glance at the SUD35N10, the VGH_th is higher than the FET we recommended, so this will influence the max current the FET could take. I would recommend you use the alternative FETs with similar VGS spec.
