LMR36503-Q1: DCM or CCM at light load

Part Number: LMR36503-Q1

Hi Team,

I've found that on the ds page23 it's said that the device operation: FPWM Mode - Light Load Operation: Discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) when the load current is lower than half of the inductor current ripple

However, on the page26: In FPWM Mode, frequency is maintained while lightly loaded. To maintain frequency, a limited reverse current is allowed to flow through the inductor.
Reverse current is limited by reverse current limit circuitry, see 7.5 for reverse current limit values
In FPWM mode, Continuous Conduction (CCM) is possible even if IOUT is less than half of Iripple.

Am I overlooking here or is the statement on ds page23 wrong? I think if the device is operated FPWM at light load it has to be CCM?

Regards
