Hi Team,

I am looking for a device which can support the following requirement:

1. Vin=2.5-5.5V

2. Vout=0.5V-1.2V, typical 0.6V

3. Iout_max=12A

I could see that TPS53915 can fulfill most of the requirement but I cannot simulate Vin=2.5V in that case, could you please help to check whether TPS53915 can fulfill the above condition?

If not, do you have another recommendation? Thanks.

    Hi Frank,

    The TPS53915 is capable of a minimum VIN of 1.5V so your 2.5-5.5VIN range is acceptable for this device.

    Note that since VIN is below 4.5V, an external bias to VDD is required.

    I'm guessing there is a bug in the webench, or they didn't model the external bias conditions.

    If you type your conditions into WEBENCH there are a few other designs that pop up including: TPS548B22 and TPS549B22
