Hi team,

Could anyone let me know what's the optimal value for the MODE pin pull up resistor?

I think as a general rule it can be anything in between 1k-100k, but just want to double check.

hi, David,

MODE pin pull H or L to select the PFM / FPWM, or external SYNC frequency, Could you point where you see the resistor range 1k - 100k ..Usually this is for current limit and safe operation.

Thanks Elena, the customer wants to pull the pin to H for FPWM. Do you mean that the recommended setup for this is to connect the pin directly to Vcc? Is it ok to have no current limit for this? (Vcc varies from 24V to 32V during operation)

hi, David,

Is it you means system Vin =32V, VCC is device VCC pin, this pin is good for MODE selection pull H, it's internal 3.3V and max 5.5V.
