TUSB542: About jitter for CP0.

Hi team,

Is it possible that periodic jitter (Pj) is added as shown in the image below the CP0 waveform (USB CTS, clock waveform) when passing through EQ, DE, of TUSB542?
If you have any ideas, that is very helpful for me.

    Hi Kengo,

    The 542 should not be adding periodic jitter. If you are seeing a worse eye diagram on the output, you may be over-equalizing the signal. You can try lowering your EQ or DE setting and check the eye diagram for improvement.

    Do you know the loss of your PCB trace? The EQ/DE settings should compensate for the loss of the trace as accurately as possible.
