    Hi Sam,

    This device can do 10A DC but at room temperature. The reason for that is because there is a lot of self heating on the module.

    As such during creation of the device, it is spec'd as 8A for the typical ambient temperature range as mentioned in the datasheet.

    However given the current limit of this device, it can actually push up to 10A DC.

    I do not suggest operating this module at 10A at a higher ambient temperature without any form of heatsink or airflow to cool the device.
