UCC28C53-Q1: Does UCC28C43/53 supports PSR Flyback

Hi Hong,

I dont see UCC28C43/53 support for Flyback PSR in Webench. I hope it is okay to design PSR wit Aux winding. pls confirm.

Hi,

Yes, they can be used for PSR.

There are two designs that use same family devices to PSR you can have them as your reference.

Hi Hong,

I am trying to do simulation Ckt working good, but at step loads and Rstatup (18k+18k) ic not behaving as expected could you pls have a looka nd advise. i have attached the sim file.

VIn is 28V DC

at above cases circuits works fine.

Hi,

Your simulation circuit has several issues. But I cannot have time to trouble shoot. I have an existing circuit that is workable. You can modify it to your need. Modify one at a time to make sure your modification can still work before move to the next modify. Then you know at which modify which stops working. Then find why and resolve before move to the next modify. Repeat this until get all needed modify to your need.
