TL783: TL783

Part Number: TL783
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A4001

Hello

We are in need of this part and we would like to find out our options on this since the part is marked as EOL

Thank you

  • Hi Abdelmajid,

Can you help with the following questions so I can provide you with the necessary information?

    (1) What is the OPN you need under GPN TL783? (Ex. TL783CKCSE3 or TL783CKTTR)

    (2) Is this for a new or existing project?

    (3) What is the total quantity of this device you require over project lifetime?

Once I have those answers, I can help assess what our options are.

    Regards,

    Kelsey

    (1) What is the OPN you need under GPN TL783? (Ex. TL783CKCSE3 or TL783CKTTR)  TL783CKC  TL783CKTT  TK783CKTTR

    (2) Is this for a new or existing project? NO

    (3) What is the total quantity of this device you require over project lifetime? 40K

  • Hi Abdelmajid,

Do you need 40k of each of the 3 devices you listed? Also, what is the maximum input voltage and output current required for the LDO in this application?

I'm exploring in tandem if (1) we're able to supply the devices that are EOL and (2) alternative part numbers that may work for your design.

    Regards,

    Kelsey

  • yes 40k combined .What the the alternative?

  • Hi Abdelmajid,

TPS7A4001 is an alternative option, but without knowing the input voltage to the LDO, the maximum load current, and the desired output voltage, I'm not sure if it will meet the requirements of your system. Are you able to help provide those?

Also, can you please clarify what number of each OPN you need? Is it 40k of TL783CKC, 40k of TL783CKTT, and 40k of TK783CKTTR? Or do you mean 40k total, with some mix of these OPNs adding up to 40k (ex. 10k of TL783CKC, 10k of TL783CKTT, and 20k of TL783CKTT = 40k total)?

    Regards,

    Kelsey

  • Hello Kelsey ,

This is not going to work at all .We can not Redesign the board to use this new chip. This is not the same package .:(

  • Hi Abdelmajid,

Understood, to check if we're able to meet your lifetime quantity demand without switching to a different device/package, can you please clarify what number of each OPN you need?

Is it 40k of TL783CKC, 40k of TL783CKTT, and 40k of TK783CKTTR? Or do you mean 40k total, with some mix of these OPNs adding up to 40k (ex. 10k of TL783CKC, 10k of TL783CKTT, and 20k of TL783CKTT = 40k total)?

    Regards,

    Kelsey Farr
