Hi,
My customer did perform short circuit tests, but it looks the SCP bit is not asserted.
Only bit6 OCP bit is asserted.
The register 0x05h bit[7:6]= 1:1, suppose SCP bit should be enabled.
Please help to check whether there is any other register to be taken care.
Thanks and Best regards,
Tiger
Hi Tiger,
Please take care if the loading wire is long because the OCP condition needs to satisfy the average inductor current hitting the set limit and the output voltage below 0.8
V, then OCP bit can be set.
Can you show the waveforms of iL and Vout when the customer did the short circuit?
BRs,
Bryce

Sorry for late to update status, Bryce.
Because there is eFuse (TPS259474L) between TPS55288 output and load, suppose the SCP is protected by eFuse first.
This is why TPS55288 is not asserted SCP bit.
Thanks and Best regards,
Tiger
