    Hi Lillian, 

    This device has both a diode opto-coupler input and several protection features. I do not think HPD has a pin to pin replacement. We have UCC23511 which has the diode input, but no desat protection, and we have UCC21750, which has desat protection and soft-turn-off but a voltage input.
