Hi,

We have 5V/24A application, does power block CSD87335Q3D is suitable for TPS51285B 5V output?

We have used CSD87330Q3D(20A cons.) is proviuos project, but now need support to higher output current.

Hi Jeff,

TPS51285B can drive the CSD87335Q3D (25A).

But the 25A MOSFET maybe not be used in a load with Iout(MAX)=24A. You can ask the customer to confirm the inductor current ripple and OC value in Iout(MAX)=24A application, then decide if the 25A MOSFET is enough.

if consider inductor current ripple and OC value may over 25V, CSD87351Q5D is more suitable to get more buffer, right?

Hi Jeff,

Yes, CSD87351Q5D (32A) is more suitable, has the buffer enough. But it is best to confirm parameters such as inductor current ripple and OC value with the customer.
