LM5020 sync input

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UC1842, LM5020

Previously, I was using UC1842 IC. There is any no problem from it.

I want to use LM5020 integrated, but where should I connect the sync input and shutdown points?

I want to use my ORCAD Pspice Project.

  • Hi Salih,

You can turn on or turn off via shutdown point by connecting it to MCU GPIO. You can keep it floating then the UVLO will set the input voltage operational range. Please refer to Line Under Voltage Detector of the datasheet.

The LM5020 can be synchronized to an external clock via SYNC input. But this is also optional. You can leave it floating.
