LM2611 load current

Hi Niklas,

While debugging, I have found the below observation:

Case 1: With the SHDN pin connected to the VCC directly, If I supply 12V at the input to the regulator, the output voltage of the regulator is -4.88V. When I connect a load at the -5V rail, the load current measured at the -5V rail (Connecting an Ammeter in place of FB 7) is 100mA. Below is the schematic for your reference.

Case 2: With the SHDN pin connected to the VCC directly, If I supply 5V at the input to the regulator, the output voltage of the regulator is -4.78V. When I connect a load at the -5V rail, the load current measured at the -5V rail (Connecting an Ammeter in place of FB 7) is 400mA. Below is the schematic for your reference.

With the change of the input voltage of the regulator, the load current at the -5V rail is changing. So, is this the characteristic of the regulator or something is wrong in the design? Can you please clarify.

Thanks.
