TPS2113A: Vout when vsns=n,c?

Part Number: TPS2113A

Hi~

In the 2113A 7-page truth table, what is the output if enable is always low(0) and Vsns is floating (not connected)?

Best Regards.

  • Hi kwon,

It's not recommended to leave Vsns floating, as it will not have a defined state - this may cause the device to constantly switch between IN1 and IN2 which would result in inconsistent power at the output and increased quiescent current. So, given that Vsns doesn't have a defined state, the output would not have a defined state either.

Also, if you are in the design/redesign state, I would recommend using TPS2117 instead, as it is our newest-generation device in this family and is far superior to TPS2113A.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Patrick

  • Hi Patrick,

    Thank you.

    Best regards,

    KWON.
