TPS26600-02EVM: TPS26600RHFR

Part Number: TPS26600-02EVM

I used this ic TPS26600RHFR for protection. I set the current limit of 1.67A startup load current is zero ,only 1870uF capacitor charges during starting.

After capacitor is fully charged I gave load of 1A ,so it is generating faults.can you suggest the what is error in this design.

Hi Om,

1. What is the load type you are using?

2. What is VIN value?

3. Please share waveforms showing VIN,VOUT, SHDN,FLT and input current during no load and when load is applied. You can trigger at current rising edge.

4. We can probe IMON also to know current flowing through eFuse.

Sir

1.pulse type power amplifiers LOAD

2.VIN=50V

3. Only FLT pin goes low , this FLT PIN output connected to microcontroller so microcontroller consider as fault ,so I turn off with the help of Shutdown pin.

Design looks fine to me. Something related to evaluation. Please share waveforms. Please refer datasheet section on FLT and see if any of listed scenarios are happening.
