BQ27742-G1: life time data abnormal

our battery use BQ27742-G1, ship to customer side(shutdown mode) and never used, after we active the gauge and read the data memory we found the lifetime max pack voltage update to 4495mV while the OVP setting is 4250mV,  we've double check the OVP still work normally so we wonder know how the fuel gauge can change the data.

    This behavior is not abnormal for the gauge. What it seems like is happening is that there was a transient to bring this voltage up to the 4495 mV, but the OVP was not triggered because this voltage was present less than the OVP delay.

             LT update time is 60s so that I think while lifetime data have updated, the delay time should be much more than the OVP delay time

    The LT update time is not the same as the protection delay time. The OVP delay time is the amount of time the condition has to be present for the protection to trip. The LT update time is the minimum update time between DF writes. Please see the image below taken from the BQ27742 TRM for more on the LT update time.
