TPS7A49: TPS7A4901DGNR Errata

Part Number: TPS7A49

We had one TPS7A4901DGNR fail on one of our products and our customer has asked us to identify if there is any known errata or failure issues associated with this part. Is there any such information associated with the TPS7A4901DGNR?

  • Hi Mike,

I'm checking with our product engineering team on this and will get back to you in 1-3 business days.

    Regards,

    Kelsey

  • Hi Kelsey,

Thanks for checking on this and I'll look forward to the response!

  • Hi Mike,

Based on return history, we do not see any systemic issue; most of the returns are EPID related (Electrically Induced Physical Damage).

What the issue(s) is the customer seeing?

If the behavior is abnormal or doesn't conform to datasheet standards and test conditions, a return can be started using the guidelines found here.

    Regards,

    Kelsey

  • Hi Kelsey,

Thanks for the response, this is what I needed to know. Our customer had one unit with a TPS7A4901DGNR that stopped outputting. I'm not entirely why they asked us to follow-up on this part after a single failure as none of the other units we've delivered have experienced an issue with this part, but I should be able to use this response to reassure our customer.

    Thanks,

    Mike
