LP5907-Q1: Minimum load current requirement?

Dear team,

My customer is evaluating LP590718QDQNRQ1 for their system and have 2 questions. Can you help me to support them?

1. Are there minimum load current requirement?
Some LDO have the minimum load current spec, but there is no requirement on the datasheet of LP5907-Q1. Also on 8.2.2.7 mentions it remains stable and in regulation with no load.

I also did the TINA-TI simulation with no load operation, and it looked stable at 1.8V. Can I really think there are no minimum load current requirement for LP5907-Q1?

2. Does the answer of Q1 change in case close to -40C or 125C condition?

Hi Yuto,

Thanks for the update. Like most modern LDO's, the LP5907 can operate down to 0A load. This is the older device and for improved stability, performance and cost, we recommend switching over to the new TPS7A21-Q1.
