    Hey Kura,

    Thank you for your question regarding the UCC27282-Q1.

    There is not peak forward surge current rating that we specify for this device. Our recommendation for this part is a maximum average current of 100mA.

    The dynamic resistance of the diode will help to reduce and limit forward current, but also a series resistor can be utilized as well to limit these peak forward currents.
