i have a question about the following words.

does it mean LM7452 can allow current flow from output to input like the following shown?

How long this reverse current can last(Whether this situation will be limited to the chip/ whether do this situation can trigger any LM74502 protection function )？

Hi Jay,

LM74502-Q1 allows continuous flow of reverse current when Vout > Vin along with below conditions,

Vin > V (VS_POR)
OV pin voltage < V(OVF)
EN pin voltage > V(EN_UVLOR)

sometime i have confusion about how to distinguish which device can support reverse current, which device cannot support

Hi Jay,

All our ideal diode controllers support reverse current blocking except for the LM745xx-Q1 which are designed for applications which require reverse current to flow.
