UCC25800-Q1: Unable to converge (overflow)

I've received the unencrypted spice model of UCC25800 and I set up an easy circuit as the figure below to check if the model does work. It turns out that there are some problems with the convergence. Does anyone have similiar experience? How can I solve this?

Hi,

I suggest you to start with the model from ti.com. Then gradually to change to yours to see at which change the model becomes not working.

The model works just fine based on my check.

Thank you for your response. Did you run this model under PSpice-for-TI? Could you please show me the schematics that you used to check the model and the output waveform of pin Vsw?

Hi,

You can download the model and its simulation circuit from the link I provided in my previous message. Yes, I did run this model and the circuit on PSpice for TI, and the model and the circuit worked fine.

Hi Hong Huang,

I got problems running the file UCC25800-Q1_TRANS.obj directly. Did you build your own circuit based on the same schematics or you were able to run the file provided by TI? I'm quite new to PSpice-for-TI so I really need some advices.
