hello,
we want to replace the eol part EP5358HUI with the cross reference TPSM82821A

i ve some questions about the ti part TPSM82821A

1) should we use the power save mode or the forced pwm? i know it is application depend, but the ti part is an cross reference, in forced pwm or psm mode?
2) what are the advantages of the psm, except the efficient?

Looks like EP5358HUI is a PWM device, so you can go with TPSM82821A,

Generally, in PSM switching frequency of the device varies with the load current to obtain the higher efficiency at lighter loads. In PWM, the device operates with typical switching frequency.

In performance level, it should be only the efficiency.

The EP5358HUI use an fix pwm frequency -> we should use the pwm mode @ the ti device TPSM82821A, right?
