TPS5430-EP: About the MAX value of Current limit

Hello,

I'm currently using TPS5430DDA.
However, since it is difficult to obtain, I am considering using TPS5430-EP.
Comparing the two, the TYP of Current limit is 5A, but there is a difference in the MAX value.
TPS5430 is 6A, TPS5430-EP is 8.5A.
Why is there such a difference?
If you know the reason, please let me know.

My concern is that the datasheet for one of the products may be incorrect.
Or are the datasheets correct for both products?

Hi Kai,

Thank you for your patience. The test condition for the TPS5430-EP is -55~125 and it's -40~125 for TPS5430. That's why the limits are wider for the wider operation temperature range.
