UCC25660: UCC25660 Low Voltage Application Efficiency Performance

Hi,

I am planning to use UCC25660 IC in low voltage input application. Where the specifications are Vin=48V; Vout=24V/30A.

In the datasheet the efficiency curve is given for HV input conditions. Does the efficiency similar to the given curve in our specifications? If not what is the approximate efficiency levels? Is there a limit to reach 97% efficiency levels with this IC?

Hello,

The efficiency curve in the data sheet is from the 180 W reference design. You can find a link to the reference designs user's guide.

The input and output power requirements are different than your design. With proper selection of components based on power dissipation loading and cooling, I would expect you to get similar efficiency performance.
