TPSI3100: Common-mode input voltage range

Part Number: TPSI3100

Hi

I couldn't find what is the comparators Common-mode input voltage range

Best Regards

Shaya

  • Hello Shaya,

I'm unsure how common-mode input voltage range would be used for TPSI31xx-Q1. In general, the comparators can accept 0-V to 5.5-V w.r.t. VSSS. The comparators will trip at 0.3-V or 1.2-V w.r.t. VSSS, depending on the variant.

For example, if we take the TPSI3103-Q1 and reference VSSS to 0-V, applying 1.2-V to FLT1_CMP would be enough to trip the threshold, shut off the driver (Vgs = 0-V), and cause nFLT1 on the primary side to go low. If VSSS is referenced to 400-V, then applying 401.2-V to FLT1_CMP would trip the threshold, shut off the driver (Vgs = 0-V), and cause nFLT1 on the primary side to go low.

Let me know if that answers your question.

    Best regards,
