Hello TI Team,

I would like to know the difference between parts LP2985AIM5-2.7/NOPB and LP2985IM5-2.7/NOPB.

In addition since these parts are obsolete or end of life, do you have a new design Active and what's the part number? I found some new parts belonging to the LP2985 family i.e. LP2985-28DBVR but i can't find one with 2.7V of output voltage and the characteristics differ from the LP2985-N series.

    Thank you for your question! The LP2985AIM5-2.7/NOPB (LP2985A) has a tighter accuracy spec of 3% in comparison to the LP2985IM5-2.7/NOPB (LP2985-nonA) with an accuracy of 5%. The TPS70927DBVR is a great alternative, it is a fixed voltage option and is p2p compatible. There are also quite of few adjustable devices with similar specs, I would recommend looking at the TPS7A24 if more similar performance. If you need better noise performance, I recommend the TLV767 and the TPS7A49.
