TPS22964C: Max Input and Output Voltage

Part Number: TPS22964C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2121,

Hi team,

We have a requirement for USB and wireless charging and OTG support for USB. We are planning to use TPS2121 mux to select between USB input and Wireless input since our PMIC has only one input; and TPS22964C load switch in the OTG path. While checking the datasheet of TPS22964C we came to know that the absolute max Vin and Vout possible is 6V. But there will be a voltage of upto 12V in input and output pins when the IC is disabled(ON pin low). While the IC is in active mode, input and output max voltage will be 5V. Can we use TPS22964C for this application? Could the IC be at risk of damage if there's a higher voltage applied to its input and output pins while it's in disabled mode?
