TPS62801: question regarding EN pin floating

Hi Team,

I am wondering if the EN pin can be floating for about 10s on each start-up operation? Will it cause some reliability risk?

As far as I understand, it should not be a problem.

Hi Febin,

Thanks for the feedback.

They use a extra GPIO pin to control the EN pin and Vin is not tie to EN pin, so there will be 10s between the Vin start raising and EN pin raising.

Besides, can you help to explain, why EN pin will tie to the drain of the MOSFET? I just wondering that this connection will create an open-drain connection, right?
