LM5013-Q1: reanson for VFB out of range

Hi there,

We found issues for 5V power supply.

We set the output to 5V, but get stable 5.4V output with change the load from 0 to 3A. then we found that the Vfb keeps 1.24V, which is out pf the range for Vfb on datasheet.

We want know whether there is a problem in chip. Thanks.

    Hi Joanna,

    Thank you for posting. May I see your schematic?  Is 5.4V under 0A load or 3A load?  What is your input, and what is your load, a resistor or an E-load?

    Thanks for your response.
    Input is 24V, with E-load adjust from 0A to 3A, we get 5.4V, which means the output is always 5.4V when the E-load changes within our designed range.

    Hi Joanna,

    Thank for the schematic and sorry to hear your problem.  I could not see obvious problem in your schematic, except that the feedback resistor sensing point should be tied to the farthest output capacitor which is closest to the load (assuming it is C219).  Then you will get 5V on the output rail. 

    Hope this clarifies.
