Hi team,

I found from BQ24725A datasheet that it is a Hybrid Power Boost Charge Controller, what does Hybrid mean? and Does it support reverse Boost mode? but I didn't find other detail from datasheet except below image.

    Hello Amber,

    BQ24725A does not have the hybrid boost function. This is a typo in the datasheet. Thank you for letting me know.

    The BQ24725A is a spin of the BQ24735 and does not support hybrid boost. If you need a similar charger that supports hybrid boost I recommend choosing BQ24735.

    Hybrid power boost mode (previously called "turbo boost mode"). It allows battery discharge energy to system when system power demand is temporarily higher than adapter maximum power level. Therefore, adapter does not crash.
