TPS54560B-Q1: Need solution for TPS54560B-q1 in load condition

Hello,

I am using the two Buck -TI part TPS54560BQDDARQ1 for the DC-DC converter. One for the output 12VDC /5A and second is for 5VDC/5A.

My input is 9V-32VDC.

I have attached my schematic is below. when I am checking the output at no load condition then the Output voltage showing 12VDC and 5VDC. But when I am applying the load for it, then my output gets turn- off (no voltage at output). even i apply just 50mA load then it becomes no output. I didn't understand, why I am getting this issue. my schematic okay as per TI-recommended circuit. please give me any solution.

Hello David,

Already I have checked this option as well.

and I have tuned the circuit as per the TI recommendation. but still the issue not resolved.

Could you please suggest another solution.

I was using the below diode which is already available with us.

Part description: DIODE Schottky SMD 2A DO-221BC-2

MPN: V8PAM10HM3/I

Hello Priya,

How you inserted this into the circuit is critical. please make sure that the parasitic impedances are kept low from cathode to switch and Anode to ground.

Also make sure you swap out the device if you tried running this without a diode.
