TPS65261: About the power consumption calculation of TPS65261

Hello TI engineers.

I would like to know how to calculate the power consumption of TPS65261, for example, input 5V output 1.1V/1A, 1.5V/0.7A, 3.3V/0.8A. How to calculate the power consumption of multiple outputs? How to calculate the power consumption of multiple outputs? Is the power consumption of each circuit individually multiplied by the thermal resistance and then finally added up?How to choose the thermal resistance of TPS65261? Is there any documentation on this? Thank you for your help.

I would recommend you can test the efficiency with TI EVM board and you can get the power consumption by measuring the efficiency. Thanks! Feel free to let us know anything unclear.

It does not mean that TPS65261 can't calculate power loss and measuring the efficiency will be the most convenient and accurate way to get power loss. For power consumption in theory, you can refer to this app note https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slva390. Thanks!
