REF5010: What is the purpose of TRIM/NR Pin?

Part Number: REF5010

Hi,

I'm currently using REF5010.

I would like to inquire about the purpose of the TRIM/NR Pin of this IC.

Looking at the datasheet, a potentiometer was used.

Is this for fine tuning the offset of Vout? Or is it possible to adjust the output range of Vout over a wide range?

Is the output of REF5010 fixed at 10V (typ)?

  • Hello,

The trim function of REF5010 is for fine tuning. It is not recommended to trim the output more than +-15mV. You can use Section 9.2 to help in choosing your resistor values.

Do you need to adjust the output voltage of REF5010? If so, what is the voltage level you are looking for?

REF5010 is fixed at 10 V. More information on the output voltage options for REF50 can be found in section 5 of the datasheet.

    Thanks,

    Jackson
