Hi team,

My customer wants to know if our device can support the application below.

Application:

12V to 3.3V

maximum output current 30A(1us) 20A(100us)

typical current 15A

Fs 400kHz

The load is PMIC and SoC.

I am worried about the thermal performance and the current limit value.

    Hello Peter,

    the LM25148 is capable of supplying this amount of current, if worried about thermal performance, suggest switching at a low frequency.  also, can use design calculator to estimate losses and trade off with frequencies high/low.
