I am trying to simulate the LM5145 evaluation board (LM5145EVM-HD-20A Evaluation board | TI.com) with integrating the Pspice MOSFET models of the Mosfets used in it along with LISNs. But after adding those MOSFET models, the error is coming : There are no data values in section number 1 ignoring this section. How to solve this? I have attached my file. Thankyou!

suggest using breakout devices for the simulation and try running simulation with them. hope this helps.

Hello Anshuman,

A break out device is a generic switch that can be used in place of a MOSFET model. It will hae less chance of convergence issues if used.

But that will defeat the purpose of that MOSFET characteristic so I wanted to use the actual SPICE Model, this was my concern.

Hello Anshuman,

You can try placing a gate resistor in series with the gate of the HS FET, try 3ohm. If that does not work I am afraid you will have to revert back to basic switches.

Suggest using S1, and S2 and adjust for RDSon that you intend to use. Using MOSFET models have a high fail rate due to convergence issues. IRF840 as a high success rate.

I know this is not perfect, but in order to get the model to run, it's the most efficient approach.
