TPS552872-Q1: Current Limit Setting Resistor

Part Number: TPS552872-Q1

Hi,

Can we choose 0 ohm as the current limit setting resistor?
Then, should ISP and ISN connected with VOUT?

Best Regards, Taki

  • Hi Taki,

thank you for using the E2E forum.

  • Hi Isao,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    1. May I know what is the application here?

    2. Yes, 0ohm is ok, or the customer can connect ISP and ISN to Vout directly like below. Both ISP and ISN must connect to Vout to disable the output current limit function, and can't be floating.

    3. Please also send the schematic and layout to us for review when finished.

    BRs,

    Bryce
