My customer has some queries regarding the §8.2.2.3 : Power Limit Selection of the IC TPS2490 mentioned below:-
As you see below, first you select the Plim,min with Vprog x Ilim x 10.
Then you size the resistive divider with the formula : R3/R4 = (Vref / Vprog ) -1. How ever, I am wondering why do you not impose a specific ratio of 9 ?
No matter the power limit value indicated, the ratio R3/R4 is set to 9 because Vref is imposed to 4V and Vprog to 0.4V.
