TPS2490: Programmable/adjustable rise time

Hello,

My customer is interested in the TPS2490, but would like to have a way to adjust the rise time. Is there circuitry that could be added to do this?

Alternatively, is there a device like TPS2490 that has programmable rise time?

Hi Brian,

Are you talking about which rise time, start-up time? Please share the voltage and current requirements here. We will see if any other device can be recommended here.

The start-up time. 48V/22A

They want the rise time to be programmable, not just fixed by passives.

Programmable via PMBus or some other digital interface.

Hi Brian,

We don't have any existing device with this above requirement. However, we have one device in development. Samples will be available in July 2024 and RTM 1Q25. If the customer is fine with the schedule, please let me know. I will share the details.
