TPS61196: Vin 5 or 12V Vout 10V

Hi,

We have BL LED driver demand as below, our system voltage have 5V or 12V.

We found TPS92390 can support below application but it need MCU control.

TPS61196 can HW standalone but seems it boost architecture can meet requirement.

Does there have better suggestion for this?

Hi Jeff,

TPS92390 also support non-MCU applications, the configuration will be set by external resistors.

BTW, may I know if you also accept the single-channel LED drivers? My understanding that you choose TPS92390 is because you will tie 4 channels together to drive single-string LED?

Hi Patrick,

Got it, seems TPS92390 is the only choice in this application.

Yes, As I know the LED architecture only one input net, so I will suggest customer connect 4CH to single-string LED.

Anything need to be noticed?
